The Carnival committee would like to thank everyone who helped to make Saturdays event so successful.
It is a shame that the weather eventually beat us on Sunday, but it will always be a risk we have to run each year.
It is impossible to mention everybody involved, but without the volunteers, the procession participants, air show, entertainment, music, and all the trades involved we would not be able to stage anything in these days of austerity and limited funding.
The committee will now focus on preparing for next years event which will be held on July 23rd & 24th. We intend to use the same format of Procession, Air Display, Entertainment and Fireworks so there is something for everyone to look forward to, weather permitting of course.
